Welcome!
The Obersalzberg Documentation Center is a place to learn about and remember the history of Obersalzberg and the Nazi dictatorship. As well as our permanent exhibition we offer an extensive educational program. The Obersalzberg Documentation Center is curated by historians at the Institute for Contemporary History Munich-Berlin.
Closing Days
The Obersalzberg Documentation Center will be closed on 24, 25 and 31 December 2024 and 1 January 2025.
Education
We offer a varied educational program for young people and adults to accompany our permanent exhibition. Here you can find out about opportunities to explore our topic in more depth, whether it’s a tour or a workshop you’re interested in.
Collection
The collection forms the basis for our exhibitions and our research on Obersalzberg. The main focus of the collection is on the Nazi era, but it also includes objects relating to pre-and post-Nazi history, right up to the present day.
